From staying fit to staying connected, we know speed, choice and control matter to you in your busy life. In every episode of Technically Speaking, Andru Edwards highlights one of his favorite products in each of these categories that will make your life easier on the road, at work or at home.
Here are his picks this episode:
Speed: Aukey 30000mAh Portable Charger
What it is:High-speed charger for common devices
Available at: www.amazon.com
The Aukey 30000mAh Portable Charger is equipped with Quick Charge 3.0 and will charge your device up to four times faster than conventional chargers. Thanks to its AI Power adaptive charging technology, it is compatible with Apple and Android devices; Bluetooth speakers; headphones and more. It is also available as a wall charger and car adapter, so you can power up faster no matter where you are.
Choice: Nintendo Switch
What it is:Portable home video game console with three styles of play
Available at: www.nintendo.com
The Switch by Nintendo is a first in the history of video games. The 6.2-inch tablet is not only a home console that you play on your TV; it is also completely portable so you can take it with you anywhere you go. You can choose to play it three ways: attach the Joy-Con controllers to both sides of the console to support handheld play; connect to a Grip accessory to allow for a traditional home console game; or use it as a handheld controller like the Nintendo Wii. Nintendo just answered the call to make it possible to play the games you want, wherever you are, however you’d like. Talk about choice!
Control: Under Armour’s Speedform Velociti Shoe
What it is:Smart shoe
Available at: www.underarmour.com
These ordinary-looking sneakers are actually smart shoes. You can pick from three different styles for both men and women, but the most impressive part is the technology in the shoes. They track metrics such as speed and distance while you wear them and automatically upload your workout data to Under Armour’s Map My Run app. There is even a jump around test that assesses how well your legs have recovered since your last run.
