Sacramento offers a menagerie of incredible restaurants throughout the city. To impress your clients or even fellow associates, consider a fine-dining meal at The Firehouse Restaurant. Choose something from the standard menu or try your taste buds on the chef's tasting menu. Maybe a power lunch is more your speed. Swing by the Handle District and stop in Paesanos for the pork fusilli.
On warm days, there are two surrounding rivers to kayak and fish on for outdoor enthusiasts. And if you’re looking for something outside the norm, take a tour of Old Sacramento Underground; a half-mile guided walking tour.
Also, it doesn’t hurt being within a short drive from some underrated wine regions. Map out a few wineries to visit and discover the abundance of delicious wines that can be found outside of the Napa Valley.
