All drivers must present a fully valid driving license. Electronic or digital driving licenses are not accepted. All drivers must have held their license for at least 12 months.
In addition, all foreign renters must present a valid photo ID such as a passport or government-issued photo ID.
A valid debit or credit card in the renter’s name must be presented upon collection of the vehicle.
If the driving license is written in a language and characters different from those of the country of rental, an International Driving Permit is also required.
Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present and International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines.
